Job Description:
The responsibilities of Platform Site Representative include but are not limited to the following:
Candidate must have an excellent knowledge of HSE rules, regulations and best industry practice for sub-sea facilities activities and be able to abide by Company HSE rules and procedures at all time.
Responsible to assure Company HSE procedures followed, including pre-work safety meetings, eSOPRY, and Permitting systems.
Ensure no activities take place which increase the risks above what is normally associated with offshore construction.
Participate in HAZID and HAZOPS.
Encourage an atmosphere of safety throughout the Installation Contractors and Company's team.
Review of all Casablanca installation and construction engineering, execution plans, and drawings.
Coordination of the construction work, including but not limited to, approval of CTR sheets, writing Work Packs, schedules, procedures, and specifications.
Preparation of daily and weekly status reports covering the Casablanca works.
Supervision of Construction Site Representatives as applicable
Onsite/on-vessel supervision of the Topsides Modifications and Offshore Installation activities.
Assisting in the Testing and pre-commissioning of the offshore systems from the trees to the platform.
Interface coordination between the Contractors, Casablanca Platform, and other Company Projects taking place
Responsible to assure process is adhered to by all Installation Contractors. Project Change Management system run by the Quality Control Manager
Prepare supporting information for variations to contract and manage information release record systems.
Analyse and verify the impact of any variance/change orders associated with Offshore Installations.
Participate in contract reviews to define scope of work with emphasis on project and production planning, record and manage change.
Enforce terms of Contract and abide by notice periods for Mobilizations and Demobilizations.
Validate invoices from Installation and construction Contractors
Provide support for Company's internal reviews and gates.
Capturing lessons learned and best practices
The supervision, resourcing and management of the Casablanca Construction team including the HSE and QC representatives.
Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry, 10 years relevant Construction and Offshore Installation experience.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified or have equivalent working experience in this role in the offshore oil and gas industry. Working knowledge of offshore installation and offshore facilities construction codes including ISO, ASME, API, and DnV.
Experience in offshore installation, hook-up, and testing of flexible pipe and structures in water depths of at least 500m.
Familiar with the operating aspects of off-shore and on-shore operations and installations,
Fluent in English
ability to speak and understand Spanish required.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office tools, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
minimum of HUET training will be required for offshore work. While offshore work is not anticipated in this role, the ability to be called on for offshore support will be considered.
