Major Responsibilities:
Business Role
To assist Group Accounting Management andproviding accurate and timely group consolidated financial statements within the framework of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Also to help the Amadeus Group Accounting and Reporting policy to provide management and shareholders with accurate financial information for decision making.
Responsibilities
1. ASSIST WITH GROUP CONSOLIDATION
Obtain Financial Statements from all subsidiaries, verify reported data and input when needed into Consolidation package: elaborate the consolidation package on a monthly and quarterly basis and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual Group Financial Statements
In order to assist Holding finance departments and provide management and shareholders with up to date information
2. IFRS IMPLEMENTATION AND ACCOUNTING CONTROL
Assist and monitor Amadeus Group companies with the implementation and correct application of IFRS and Group Accounting and reporting procedures
In order to assure that information provided is accurate
3. ASSIST IN EXTERNAL/INTERNAL AUDIT CO-ORDINATION AND COLLABORATION
Ensure auditors use appropriate Financial Statements: confirm that reports are delivered on time and assist in their consolidation process
In order to obtain Audit Reports on time
Requirements:
Education
University Degree in Economics or Business Administration. Certified or Chartered Accountant (An advantge).
Work Experience
2-3 years experience as auditor in a multinational Audit firm or in the Consolidation dept of an international company
Business Understanding
Knowledge of Amadeus business an asset
Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP
Languages
- English: Fluent
- Another Language: An asset
