Ability to conduct on-site technical risk assessments of the Electrical Utility System, and be thoroughly familiar with construction standards, operating procedures, policies, record keeping practices, and code compliance
Be thoroughly familiar with electric utility overhead and underground distribution systems
Must have an understanding of electrical utility environmental and safety regulations
Able to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical personnel, both in writing and orally
Experience
5+ years documented experience on engine driven generators rated at 1,000 kW to 2,500 kW 3-phase/60 Hz stationary diesel engine driven generators and associated medium voltage electrical equipment/switchgear systems
5+ years documented experience in Quality Management and
Experience conducting accident and incident investigation
Experience in directing functions such as operation, maintenance, repair, overhaul of electrical power production equipment and associated switch gear, exterior and interior electric distribution systems, cathodic protection, fire alarms, aircraft arresting system and in utilizing the principles of shop management and safety, material requirements and production control
Capable to read and interpret drawings and specifications and to order material through the supply
Shall become familiar with applicable host nation and USAF environmental regulations
Shall have knowledge of OSHA regulations or USAF safety directives, and National Electric Code (NEC)
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
LANGUAGE:
English – excellent reading writing and speaking skills
